The Kiwanis Club of Westminster, Inc. has been a source of funding for charitable, scholastic, educational, cultural, civic, athletic and social welfare purposes in Carroll County, Maryland. It is the intention of the Kiwanis Club of Westminster, Inc. to continue its’ support of the community in which it has prospered by;

1. Providing scholarships for graduating seniors in Carroll County, Maryland who have attained their secondary school diploma from the Carroll County Career & Technology Center. The scholarships shall be for those students to attend schools of higher learning or a certified program appropriate to further develop their capacities and capabilities. Need for financial assistance, academic record, achievements and awards, and written or verbal presentation to the Kiwanis Club of Westminster Scholarship Committee shall be taken into consideration.
2. Providing scholarships for college bound seniors graduating from Winters Mill High School in Westminster, Carroll County, Maryland. The scholarship shall be for those students who have demonstrated community involvement, school involvement, leadership and academic achievement.
3. Making grants to Carroll County Not For Profit 501(c)3 organizations based on identified needs to meet financial and educational needs of youth in the community.
