The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships for tuition , books, and fees to single mothers of any age, who reside in Carroll, Frederick, Howard, Baltimore County, or Baltimore City, who wish to further their education at a facility of higher learning.
Candidates for the WellAdvantage Empowerment Fund may be pursuing a degree program or taking a course or courses to improve or maintain skills in basic business, computer technology or any other continuing education program that will improve the candidate's marketability in the workforce.
