Carroll County Robotics Team Booster Fund

It takes patience, genius and a bit of insanity, but the Carroll County Robotics Team works every year to design and build a working robot for entrance in the FIRST Robotics Competition. Every year there is a challenge, a game of sorts, where robots are placed on teams that have different ways to score points. This team is made up of students from all of the Carroll County high schools. The program is called F.I.R.S.T. Robotics (For Inspiration and Recognition in Science and Technology) – www.usfirst.org . In this program, the students design and build 5-foot tall robots and program them to do specific stated tasks. The students must also do P.R., budgeting, fundraising and any other related business tasks.
