The mission of Carroll Citizens for Racial Equality is to promote racial equality and improve understanding in Carroll County through community networking, public education at the grassroots level, and advocacy of positive alternatives to hate-group activity.

Since 1992, Carroll Citizens for Racial Equality has taken a leading role in encouraging citizens to take positive non-violent steps on behalf of racial equality and against hate groups. We continue to raise community consciousness through educational lectures at the Carroll County Public libraries several times a year and through the local media.
